THE CRYSTALFONTZ LCD
The LCD that I used is a Crystalfontz 4 X 20 characters with blue backlight. It is connected to the motherboard by the parallel port and is managed by an excellent software of the name of Jalcd in its version 3.02. One can display much info such as all the data relating to the system (t° CPU, mobo, system, fanspeed, voltage, state of the RAM, hard drives, upload rate, download rate, disk space, account e-mail, CPU frequency…) moreover it is completely compatible with Winamp and has some small download plug-ins which increase the display possibilities - it is an excellent piece of software.
